Our Story

Ceremony has always been home to the creative folks of Austin. With inspiration from Austin’s 90s music scene, a devotion to personal growth, and a simple, steady vision, Ceremony was established by Asenath Avinash as a spot where people connect authentically to themselves and each other. What began as a one-room sanctuary has grown into a vibrant wellness hub offering massage, acupuncture, sauna, cold plunge, botanical scrubs – in addition to live music and DJ parties, vendor markets, our Buddhist book group, art showings, and community breathwork and tea ceremonies, among others. 

Today, Ceremony is run by a close-knit team of creative administrators and skilled practitioners, working alongside a wider circle of creatives, collaborators, and community partners. We regularly open our doors to host small events bridging wellness, creativity, and community. 

Genuine care lies at the heart of everything we do. We believe in the power of ritual, the beauty of community, and the joy of helping people feel more alive in their bodies and connected to their lives. Ceremony is a place to come back home into your body, connect with others, and feel supported in living your vibrant, authentic and expressive life.
